Esselè

 Here It is the project that is making come true a long-held passion of Esselè's founders and friends for 'emotional' wine – that for us is only natural wine. 

 Esselè is a project that starts from our love for natural wine and aims to promote the values of one of the world's most naturally gifted grape-growing regions. Inspired by these values, we're currently renovating historical vineyards in the Valle Peligna and Alto Tirino in Abruzzo. We're also setting up an ancient residence with a cellar right in the heart of Ofena village, transforming it into a welcoming spot for guests and good times. 

The first wines we've produced fill us with pride, and we absolutely can't wait to share them with fellow enthusiasts like us. Just bear with us if we're still getting used to being the ones behind the counter, instead of in front of it with a glass in hand and stars in our eyes!

Der Weinberg

Esselè owns 3.5 hectares of vineyards, with an average age of 40-50 years, located between the Peligna Valley and Alto Tirino. These vineyards are situated at altitudes ranging from 250 to 450 meters above sea level. Half of these vineyards will be replanted with traditional grape varieties such as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano, along with other varietals like Sauvignon and Malvasia, which we believe will perform well in the region.

All our wines, it features only indigenous yeasts, no filtrations, no chemicals, just a tiny hint of sulfur dioxide during the pre-fermentation phase.

ESSELE' ROSELLO 2024 is a fresh wine that brings joy just by looking at it! It's cheerful, light, and a bit tart, but you quickly realize it also has a personality that's far from shy, expressed in saline notes of Mediterranean scrub, citrus, and elderflower. ESSELE' ROSELLO is a blend of red grapes. 12% alcohol, 6.3 g/l total acidity, PH 3.28, total SO₂ 27 mg/l. 

 ESSELE' ROSATO 2024 is a balanced, lively, and fresh wine, with harmonious aromas of citrus and small red berries. It's incredibly drinkable – every sip calls for another, and every finished glass leaves you with a little longing! 

ESSELE' ROSATO is 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. 13.5% alcohol, 5.9 g/l total acidity, PH 3.22, total SO₂ 21 mg/l. 

 ESSELE' BIANCO 2024 is a wine with a strong, multifaceted personality that reveals a kaleidoscope of aromas and scents in the glass – from passion fruit to cedar, from chamomile to honey, constantly evolving and changing. ESSELE' BIANCO comes to life on a late August afternoon, when beautiful Sauvignon grapes are gently pressed and left to macerate for just under a week. 13% alcohol, 4.5 g/l total acidity, PH 3.88, total SO₂ 25 mg/l.
